Road Commission of Oakland County: “Patching (subdivision roads) is a Band-Aid solution”

Hometown Life article titled “Practice patience or dig into your pocketbook to deal with pothole problems” posted on May 5, 2023.

The article quotes Road Commission of Oakland County communications manager Craig Bryson as saying that the road commission will never repave subdivision roads, stating that doing so to eliminate potholes is an expensive proposition; one the commission can't afford and is not responsible for.

If you’d rather opt for a long-term solution - a full rebuild - for our Village roads, stop by the Village Office during posted petition-signing office hours (villageroads.org) or click HERE to let us know that you’re ready to sign!
