PINK section - garbage pickup on Waddington during paving on 9/13/24

Paving is scheduled to take place on Waddington on Friday 9/13/24, which is also garbage pick-up day. Ajax Paving plans to work with the Priority Waste trucks to allow pick-up to take place as scheduled. What residents should do:

• If your home is located close to a cross-street (like Yarmouth, Oak, Pine or Tilbury Place), please place your cans in the right of way on that cross street for Priority Waste to pick up.

• If you are too far from a cross-street, place your cans in front of your home as you would normally. Ajax plans to work with Priority Waste trucks to allow them access to the blocks ahead of the paving equipment for garbage pickup.

  If the Priority Waste truck comes through after the road is paved but before the asphalt is cool enough to open the street, Ajax personnel will drag the cans to the garbage truck and return them to your home.

• This would be a good week to avoid placing bulk waste at the curb, if you can possibly hold off until next week.
