Roads: An Issue of Safety

We received this email from a Village Resident. It is a good reminder to wear your helmet, and an unfortunate reminder why our 40-year old roads are dangerous for our kids.

A real life example that I can share with folks regarding the need for a safer environment, my 9-year old looked like he was put through a tree shredder after hitting a pot hole on his Onewheel!  The good news is he had a helmet on which helped to avoid a catastrophe but his body was scraped up virtually head to toe.  Playing football and lacrosse with cuts and bruises all over has been tough for the last few weeks.
